In the UK we say we have a twin town. I wasn't sure the Isle of Man towns would be twinned with any towns, but I am happy to say they are. I was even happier to note that it is a french town. As a lot of you know I am a huge lover of all things french and France in general, so for me to find out Ramsey is twinned with a French town is fantastic.

Like Ramsey it is a coastal town. It is a big tourist area, especially for those doing any sport like kite flying, bike riding, land surfing. A real family place. The beach sweeps round. As you can see by the images kindly provided by Jean-Pierre, a tourist administrator the houses might be different, but the sea view could be Ramsey. Well it could be if you took the structure off the beach.
I would like to thank on the Isle of Man, Sid and Jenny for the link today.
I would also like the thank in Nantes, Marie, Shona, and Jean Pierre for the images at such short notice, which are a welcome contrast to my usual images.
